About Mary

I'm passionate about inspiring people to move their bodies in a functional and natural way.  I'm a lover of the outdoors and have a strong connection to nature and all the benefits it gives us.  

Health and wellness is the key to longevity. We are living longer and if our desire is to be functional for everyday living, we need to keep our bodies active and strong.

I have been working in the health and fitness industry for 20 years as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor in Vancouver, B.C.

Over the years, I have trained hundreds of individuals from older adults to recreational athletes to sports teams.  I teach a variety of classes from power walking, indoor cycling, yoga, Healthy Hearts, core and sport-specific conditioning.

I have been a recreational athlete most of my life; beginning with gymnastics at a young age to evolving into sports such as triathlons, road and trail running, road cycling, mountain biking, hiking, outrigger canoeing, mountaineering, alpine and nordic skiing.
